Project Atom Completion

In September 2015, IMG completed their largest capital installation project to date worth NZD $15 Million. One of the reasons IMG were successful in winning this project was our demonstrated track record in maintenance related projects in operational plants. The scope was to install a new client supplied Billet Caster Machine and Ladle Metallurgy Furnace within New Zealand Steels current steelmaking plant, to produce a smaller steel product called “billets”.
